First of all.....Happy New Year to You All! Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year for all of you!!!!
Spoke with Mike tonight.....he had a great relaxing vacation and is leaving to go back home tomorrow. Doesn't look like anything is in the works for a while but we can all hope that something will come up. Max can't wait to get back to play with his new puppy "Skip"!!!! He loved playing with Uncle Bob, Aunt Kathie and Mom-Mom but the time has come to return to his N.C. home!!! (Bet Santa wasn't very good to him!!!!)
Everyone....enjoy the New Year and Pray for a good ride for our guy!!!

Thanks so much for the update on Mike and family. Yes, it would be absolutely great if Mike could get a quality ride for 2004. BUT, it looks like that won't happen. I sincerely hope he can live with that and go on. He is still young and there may be a whole new/different career in his future. As long as he and Katie are happy, that is all that matters. Just my opinion.

So glad to hear from you again! I just found your telephone # and address in my wallet yesterday while cleaning it out. Maybe the next time I get there we can finally meet....or at least talk on the phone! I talked to Mike's mom today and told her that when I am sure that there are not going to be any major snowstorms in you area I would like to take a trip there again. (of course, if there is snow we all know that Schooz will clear the roads for everyone. I hear he does a great job....but don't tell Kat that I said that!!  )
Found some old video tapes last night of Mike in the Royal Oak at Dover, Mike at the Mike McLaughlin Day in Waterloo with the CraZ8 and his birthday party in N.C.!!!! Great memories. John and I are so glad that we have great memories of Mike's race days and hopefully we will see more in the future! Let's hope so. Wouldn't a full time, worry-free ride be just the greatest gift that he could get in "2004"?!?!? Mike and Katie sound very happy.

Hi, Rhody, I know what you mean about snowstorms. You just never know around here what the weather is going to be like. Would love to hear from you sometime.
Yes, I am still hobbling around on one foot. Have a doctor appointment next week and then therapy/rehab for about 6 weeks. Hope to be back to work in March.
